UPDATE: New compliance feature

The Federal Trade Commission’s main focus for 2016 will be on matching criteria and ensuring accurate identifiers are used for the applicant processing. In an ongoing effort to enhance accuracy and compliance, beginning on March 24th we are adding a new feature for the way names are entered into the HireSafe ordering platform.

This compliance feature requires your applicant or processor to enter a middle name when a name has been started. If your applicant does not have a middle name, they will be required to check a box to validate that they do not have a middle name. The addition of this feature will allow us to match results better that come back from data providers and researchers.

To refine the searches even further, be sure to enter the full legal name of your applicant.
